Anthony Fabian's Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris, arriving in theaters on July 15, is a delightful story about a woman who hides her pain to make the world a brighter and better place. After years of waiting for her husband to return home from war only to learn that he passed long ago, Ada (played by the iconic Lesley Manville) finds comfort in fashion — specifically a gorgeous Christian Dior dress that inspires her to make the trip of a lifetime.
In Paris, Ada meets a variety of employees who work for the House of Dior, which back in the 1950s was only in its adolescence and still so exclusive that clients had to visit a specific location to receive an outfit. One of the friendlier faces there is André Fauvel (Lucas Bravo, Emily in Paris) an accountant who lends her a helping hand while hiding his own feelings for the beautiful model Natasha (Alba Baptista).
