Daredevil's New Costume is Secretly Using Iron Man Technology

It’s been quite some time since Elektra began her new stint as Daredevil, and it looks like Marvel is revealing a new tool in her arsenal courtesy of Iron Man. A new preview for Daredevil: Woman Without Fear #3 shows the beginnings of an epic showdown between Elektra and Kraven the Hunter. As the two battle it out, Daredevil reveals a secret about her new costume.
Elektra took over for Matt Murdock as Daredevil when the latter went to prison after he was convicted of manslaughter. Needing an alliance with Matt, she protected Hell’s Kitchen to prove she could defend the innocent without spilling blood. With a pair of sai modified by Tony Stark and her own determination, Elektra kept the city safe until Matt was released from his incarceration.

And it looks like her weapons weren’t the only thing Iron Man crafted to assist Daredevil on her new path. A preview picks up on Elektra’s bloody confrontation with Kraven in Daredevil: Woman Without Fear #3 by Chip Zdarsky, Rafael de Latorre, Federico Blee, and Clayton Cowles. As Elektra reminisces on the love that led her to this moment, she fights the newly christened Thunderbolt, Kraven. A crowd gathers to witness the fight, which seems pretty evenly matched. Elektra bides her time and waits for the perfect moment to strike, only to receive a forceful blow by Kraven. The punch comes as a shock to Elektra, who reveals that her helmet actually contained technology from Iron Man to mimic Matt Murdock’s radar sense.
