The Disney+ page for Daredevil originally featured Bullseye in its page design rather than Matt Murdock. Daredevilhas been widely considered to be one of the greatest Marvel shows ever made. The show follows Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock, a blind man trying to balance his days as a lawyer with his nights as a vigilante. Originally on Netflix, the show has garnered three seasons featuring some of Marvel’s most famous characters, such as The Punisher, Kingpin, and Elektra. Daredevil himself has also appeared in The Defendersalongside Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist, all of whom also had their own series on Netflix.
Disney+ is no stranger to superhero shows. Since its launch in November of 2019, Disney+ has created five original shows centered on the heroes of the Marvel Cinematic Universe with many more in production. However, with the launch of Disney+, all of the Marvel shows on Netflix met a swift conclusion as Disney decided they wanted all the Marvel content to exist on one streaming platform. With the TV-MA rating the Netflix Marvel shows had earned themselves, fans were left wondering if this meant the end of some of their favorite superhero series as the titles left Netflix on March 1, 2022 to make their way to Disney+.

On March 16, 2022, Daredevil, along with the rest of what is now being called Defenderssaga, became available to stream on Disney+ with a very interesting series page.
