Ever since Netflix canceled Daredevil in 2018, audiences have wanted to see more of Charlie Cox's Marvel character. These hopes finally came to fruition in 2021 when he returned as Matt Murdock for a cameo in Spider-Man: No Way Home. The appearance is expected to be the beginning of a new chapter of Daredevil's live-action stories, which is rumored to include roles in She-Hulk and Echo. Still, there has been optimism that a Daredevil project properly set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe will happen.
When it comes to conversations about Daredevil's MCU future, many want to see that include Daredevil season 4. Disney's recent move to bring the first three seasons of Daredevil and the rest of the former Marvel Netflix shows to Disney+ opened the door for the series to potentially continue. The chances of Charlie Cox returning to lead another Daredevil project seemed even more likely after it was recently discovered that Disney set up a «Blind Faith Productions LLC.» This was followed by news that an MCU project starring the Devil of Hell's Kitchen could begin filming before the end of the year.

Now, Production Weekly has revealed that Marvel Studios is indeed working on a Daredevil-centric project. It is being referred to as a Daredevil reboot series produced by Kevin Feige and Chris Gray, which should release on Disney+. This could indicate that Disney and Marvel Studios are working quickly to get the series off the ground. The production listing doesn't include any cast members, but Charlie Cox will be back to star as Matt Murdock in any Daredevil MCU
