Sony's new trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home's home release features a number of new shots of Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire. One of the most ambitious movies in the MCU to date, Spider-Man: No Way Home revealed the true potential of the multiverse. The film's third act saw Tom Holland's Spider-Man team up with previous big-screen iterations of the wall-crawler, played by Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield. What might have been hollow fanservice instead became a truly poignant storyline that offered closure for the original two Spider-Men and a moving setup for future MCU Spider-Man projects.
Spider-Man: No Way Home has proved to be a hit, grossing over $1.8 billion worldwide in spite of the coronavirus pandemic. Marvel and Sony have now announced the film's home and digital release on April 12, and they released a brand new trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home as well. It includes a number of clips, notably the unforgettable scene featuring Charlie Cox's Matt Murdock, as well as several shots featuring Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield.
