Cyberpunk 2077 is ramping up to its release of Phantom Liberty this month, and with it, a new update brings new ways to play the expansive RPG.
Phantom Liberty isn't just bringing a new story but a new skill tree that brings new playstyles and builds to the RPG. A new location, Dogtown, is also coming to Night City, giving more places for players to explore. Combat is also seeing an AI overhaul, as well as the Police system, making everything feel more dynamic and realistic.
Update 2.0 as its being called, releases alongside Phantom Liberty, bringing the police system, vehicle combat changes, and revamped skill trees to the base game for free on Xbox Series S|X, PlayStation 5 and PC (last-gen consoles are left behind, unfortunately).
Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty will be released on September 26th on those same platforms, bringing a new spy-thriller-inspired, Idris Elba-fueled storyline to the RPG. You can check outour thoughts from Summer Game Fest here. Check out the new trailer in the embed below.
