Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the best games available on the market in its vanilla state, but some mods bring the game's visuals to new levels, as showcased in a new video shared on YouTube this week.
The video, which was put together by Digital Dreams, shows the open-world RPG by CD Projekt Red running with the Ghost in the Shell 2.5 visual overhaul mod, which features a variety of visual tweaks to make the game feel like the anime and movie adaptations of the manga inspired by Mamoru Oshii. This overhaul features, among other things, refined exposure and eye adaptation, a great-looking rain weather condition, Immersive Headlamps, and Immersive Flash that truly elevate the game's visuals.
With the Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty expansion finally out, CD Projekt Red is looking at the future of the series with the next game, currently known as Project Orion. The Polish developer is planning to evolve the series like they did with The Witcher, which is definitely an interesting statement, given how much the series starring Geralt of Rivia improved from game to game.
Cyberpunk 2077 is now available on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and Xbox One worldwide. The Phantom Liberty expansion, on the other hand, is only available on PC and current generation consoles. You can learn more about it by checking out Alessio's review.
