Shortly after having released a major update for Cyberpunk 2077, developer CD Projekt RED has released a smaller update that brings with it support for Nvidia’s new DLSS 4 technology on PC. Along with this, the update also brings with it a host of bug fixes.
The update, which numbers at 2.21, also brings with it some smaller features, especially when it comes to new additions to the recently-overhauled photo mode. For example, players can now spawn Nibbles or Adam Smasher while taking photos and protagonist V is either up in the air or in water.
The biggest part of this update, however, is exclusively for PC players with support for DLSS 4. The game now supports new DLSS 4 features, including multi frame generation for players that have GeForce RTX 50-series graphics cards. Using this feature, players will be able to see higher frame rates thanks to an AI generating additional frames based on data from the game’s own frames.
Players with older Nvidia GPUs will also be able to make use of upgraded features, including less hardware intensive ray reconstruction and super resolution. Check out the full patch notes below.
In the mean time, if you’re curious about all of the big features of Nvidia’s DLSS 4, you can check out our coverage of the company’s showcase during CES 2025 earlier this month. Along with DLSS 4, Nvidia also unveiled its new high-end line-up of graphics cards in the GeForce RTX 50 series, the best among which will be priced at $1,999.
