The hit roguelike all about sects and violence is now adding sex and even more violence. Cult of the Lamb developer Massive Monster has announced the game's next update, Sins of the Flesh, is coming to PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox, and PlayStation for free on January 16.

In addition to, ahem, love-making, the update also adds new progressions systems, weapons, buildings, and cult-life mechanics. According to the update's press release, these new features will allow your cult's followers to «delight in gluttonous rituals, vain buildings, and wrathful doctrines,» as well as give Lambert the power to invite their most loyal followers to join their Circle of Disciples, a revamped levelling system of follower progression.
As for what cult-life mechanics entails, the studio has revealed that shiny poop, baneful brooms, and bigger, better buildings are also included in Sins of the Flesh. In an effort to help improve automation, Massive Monster is also adding a new tier to Janitor Stations and Storage Structures, both of which will improve automation and enable your cultists to better care for the their compound. Lastly, you can now construct a Tailor building. Once unlocked, you'll be able to dress your cultists in one of 23 different outfits.
