The long-awaited Crazy Rich Asians 2 gets a major boost as it finds a new writer to step in for the original scribes. Directed by Jon M. Chu, the first Crazy Rich Asians was the breakout hit of 2018 as it supplied audiences with both classic romcom charm and much-needed onscreen representation.
