Confirmed! Tecno Pova 5G launch is tomorrow; Here are price, specs and features
Tecno is set to launch its first 5G smartphone, Tecno Pova 5G in India tomorrow, which is February 8. The smartphone company confirmed the launch date via its official Twitter handle, though no official release time for the same has been revealed. Tecno Pova 5G has already been introduced in Nigeria in December 2021, which comes with a 120Hz display and triple rear camera setup. Ahead of the launch, Tecno has confirmed that the Pova 5G will feature Memory Fusion + LPDDR5 RAM which can expand its RAM capacity up to 11GB. In the series of Tweets about the launch of Tecno Pova 5G, it is confirmed that the smartphone will feature a 6.9-inch FHD+ Dot-in display with a 120Hz of refresh rate which will come with MediaTek Dimensity 900 chipset. According to its launch in Nigeria, it is equipped with an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC, 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and 128GB of built-in UFS 3.1 storage. The smartphone is powered by a 6,000 mAh battery with the support for 18W fast charging. Pova 5G will come pre-installed with HiOS 8.0, which is based on Android 11, and the integrated fingerprint sensor into the power button on the side.
For the optics, the company confirmed that Pova 5G will feature a triple camera setup at the back with a 50MP main camera sensor along with a 2MP secondary sensor and an AI lens. While in the front, it packs a 16MP selfie camera with Dual-LED flash.
