The premise ofJurassic World: Dominion involves the world coping with dinosaurs now living in the wild, with no human city or settlement safe from the intrusion of prehistoric beasts. In Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, the dinosaurs were rescued from Isla Nublar, which was destroyed by a volcanic eruption. The dinos were brought to Lockwood Manor in Northern California where many of the prehistoric beasts were sold at auction. Ultimately, young Maisie Lockwood (Isabella Sermon) let the imprisoned dinosaur clones loose on the world. Combined with Jurassic World's proprietary dinosaur cloning technology also being duplicated by other genetics companies, the formerly extinct animals are now proliferating all over the planet.
