While it's not the long-awaited localization of Mother 3, the release of Earthbound and Earthbound Beginnings on the Nintendo Switch Online service is something to celebrate. A whole new generation of players will soon experience Ness' cross-country journey across time and space.

Earthbound hits the sweet spot of being long, but not exhausting. An average playthrough is going to last 25-30 hours. An extremely rushed playthrough might even slide in below 20 hours. That being said, new players shouldn't expect their run to be in the lower time threshold.
Earthbound is partially known for its wonky difficulty curve.
