Chris Hemsworth hypes the second official Thor: Love and Thunder trailer ahead of its premiere during Game 4 of the NBA Eastern Conference Finals. Taika Waititi’s highly anticipated follow-up to 2017’s Thor: Ragnarok, will see one of the last original Avengers return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe for the first time since Avengers: Endgame. In addition to Hemsworth, the cast includes Natalie Portman’s Jane Foster, Jamie Alexander’s Lady Sif, Tessa Thompson’s Valkyrie, Waititi’s Korg, Russell Crowe’s Zeus, and Christian Bale’s Gorr the God Butcher.
Despite the MCU film releasing in less than two months, the first Love and Thunder trailer didn’t debut until the middle of April. While Disney and Marvel Studios were busy promoting Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and Moon Knight, Kevin Feige and company can now focus on the God of Thunder and other projects. That said, Love and Thunder’s marketing has ramped up. Last week, a clip featuring Waititi, Hemsworth, Thompson, and Cleveland Cavalier’s Kevin Lov dropped on the franchise's official Twitter account, confirming the film’s next trailer would debut during the NBA Eastern Conference Finals. Now, Hemsworth himself is hyping the trailer.
