Valve's smash hit MOBA Dota 2 has returned to the Steam Top Ten in the wake of its massive Summer client update.
The game took third place, rising up from No.31 following the update that brings about a new player behaviour system and a new armory. Valve has also banned smurf accounts from the smash hit MOBA, which has gone a long way to pleasing fans.
First place goes to what else but Bethesda's Starfield. The game is now available to fans who bought the Premium or Constellation editions of the ambitious sci-fi RPG, but is set to launch to everybody tomorrow (Wednesday, September 6th). Both Valve's Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and Baldur's Gate 3 from Larian Studios hang steady this week in second and third place respectively. Last week's No.1 – Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon – dropped four places week-on-week to fifth, while PUBG: Battlegrounds rose from No.8 to sixth place.
The Steam Deck hardware holds onto the No.7 spot week-on-week, charting ahead of Dead by Daylight which returns to the Top Ten thanks to a 50 per cent price cut week-on-week. Discounts also see Rainbow Six: Siege return to the charts thanks to the game boasting a 60 per cent slash.
Destiny 2 dropped from fifth to tenth place week-on-week.
