From Software's Elden Ring spent another week at the No.1 spot on Steam.
The game shot back to the top of the charts thanks to the launch of the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion last week and it appears that that – and a 30 per cent price cut – has helped the RPG retain its place. The DLC itself has dropped by three places to No.5.
Counter-Strike 2 rose up one place to second week-on-week, while Forza Horizon 4 Steam shot up to fourth place thanks to a 80 per cent price cut in the most recent Steam Sale. The last time the racing romp was in the Top Ten appears to be July 2021.
Baldur's Gate 3 shot up 16 places from No.22 to sixth thanks to a 20 per cent price cut and a great deal of critical acclaim. Battle royale giant PUBG Battlegrounds fell three places to seventh, while last week's No.7 – Chained Together – dropped just one position to eighth.
The Steam Sale also brings Cyberpunk 2077 back to the Top Ten – from 65th to ninth – thanks to a 50 per cent price cut. Rounding off the Top Ten is Apex Legends, which rose from No.27 to tenth on the back of a new update which sees the introduction of four-player teams.
