Sorry, Edgerunners fans, but it doesn't look like Falco will return in Cyberpunk 2077's Phantom Liberty DLC. That's straight from the mouth of CD Projekt red's global PR director, so we're pretty sure it's legit.
Earlier this week, a video popped up on the Cyberpunk 2077 subreddit that supposedly revealed part of the upcoming Phantom Liberty DLC. The mission was called "Casino Warfare," possibly referring to the orbiting Crystal Palace alluded to in one of Cyberpunk's endings. And on top of that, the mission description mentioned Edgerunners' Falco as one of the people you'd need to talk to in order to get the operation rolling.

The mission presented itself as unfinished, with a bunch of %-signs and "add description here" underneath the bulleted items that have you run a BD and call Falco. It was a tantalizing peek at Phantom Liberty, but according to CDPR Global PR Director Radek Grabowski, it's actually not.
"Sorry Paul, but this is not a leak," said Grabowski in response to Forbes' Paul Tassi breaking the story. "We do not have this content neither in Phantom Liberty nor in the base game."
So no Falco and probably no floating casinos either, but we do know that Phantom Liberty will star Idris Elba in some way. Elba confirmed his presence in the latest trailer shown at last year's Game Awards and also said it'll have the "deepest game narrative ever." CDPR has described Phantom Liberty as a "spy-thriller expansion" and the biggest DLC the Polish developer has ever made, while fans are hoping that Phantom Liberty will add a somewhat cheerier ending to Cyberpunk 2077.
