It should come as little surprise that Captain America is one of the most durable heroes in the Marvel Universe, thanks to powers and healing factor derived from the Super-Soldier Serum. However, when Steve Rogers got shot in the head and was declared dead and soon walked off the incident like it was no big deal, it became clear his healing factor and powers were being used in ways that made little sense to his previous characterization.
In the pages of Marvel Comics, the Super-Soldier Serum famously turned Captain America from a skinny, small man into the perfect physical specimen with incredible strength, increased mental capacity, and durability making him the perfect soldier. Thanks to his powers acquired from the serum, Captain America has long shown the ability to take a beating and almost always continually get up after being taken down. As a result, he's survived some wild encounters with some of the greatest villains in the Marvel Universe. Still, when he was once shot point-blank in the head and somehow recovered soon after being declared dead, it showed how ridiculous his powers and healing factor were being written.
