Yesterday WoW Classic Senior Game Producer Josh Greenfield teased that changes were coming to Battle for Ashenvale, and the first wave of adjustments have arrived. Camp Lieutenants have been given a health increase, and are now required to kill before a Faction Leader can be defeated.
This change means that big groups of players can no longer rush to the opposite Faction's Leader and burst it down with sheer numbers, but instead actually need to spread out across the zone and defeat the Camp Lieutenants.
It seems to already have had a positive effect, as Josh says he's «seen a few really great fights already since this first change went live».
But Blizzard aren't done just yet. A number of other changes have already been discussed, such as changing Graveyard locations and spawn timers, fixing layer issues, the frequency of the event and making sure everyone who participates is being awarded Reputation with the Silverwing Sentinels and Warsong Outriders factions.
