A major recent update to Call of Duty: Warzone 2 has overhauled major aspects of the game’s looting mechanics, but this new system has brought with it some major technical issues. A plethora of Call of Duty: Warzone 2 gamers have been complaining since launch about the refined loot system present in the free-to-play FPS battle royale due to its slower, more methodical pace. Activision has taken that negative feedback onboard and attempted to speed up the looting process by making it more similar to the looting system from the original Call of Duty: Warzone.
Rather than being able to open up duffel bags and first aid kits to loot individual items using the UI pop up, all the items now empty out of said containers instantly when a player highlights the container and press the loot button. Players who prefer Warzone 2's more nuanced loot system have lovingly referred to this less methodical style of looting as “vomit loot.”

However, it is now the case that even the players who preferred the looting mechanic from the original Call of Duty: Warzone are complaining about the changes that this update brought with it. This is owed to the fact that multiple loot-related glitches have been occurringin Warzone 2 over the past few days. Multiple examples have appeared online showing loot vanishing before the player’s eyes instantaneously before they can collect any of it. This behavior is obviously not normal and is hindering the battle royale experience for some players.
