The end of the first weekend for the multiplayer beta of Sledgehammer Games’ Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 has come to a close. Weekend Two starts this Thursday, October 12th (for those who pre-ordered) and features Highrise, new mode Cutthroat, and much more.
However, there are will also be various improvements. The developer tweeted that it would update players on some of the “top concerns” it observed, including operator visibility, slide timing and spawn selection. Whether these will be changed heading into the next beta weekend remains to be seen, so stay tuned.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 launches on November 10th for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5 and PC. It features a new campaign with Vladimir Makarov as the main threat, 16 revamped multiplayer maps from Modern Warfare 2 (2009) and a new open-world Zombies experience by Treyarch. Head here for more on the latter, which includes the biggest Zombies creature in the series to date.
