Call of Duty cheating is getting worse… again
destructoid.comOver the last few years, the Call of Duty franchise has seen plenty of peaks and valleys when it comes to cheating. It’s a bad time for everyone, and that’s why Activision developed Ricochet Anti-Cheat, which was supposed to be the answer to the CoD community’s problems.
After years of holding off on using an anti-cheat to create their own, Ricochet has been better, but not great. Now, cheating seems to be on the uptick again across Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer and Warzone.
Cheating in Call of Duty is bad right now. Especially if you’re a highly-ranked player, it feels like the killjoys are in nearly every multiplayer or Warzone match. And it isn’t just aim botters and wallhackers anymore, either. Cheaters have created new and outrageous ways to win, ones that even a backpack full of stun grenades can’t prevent. For example, this person is literally flying around Fortune’s Keep in Resurgence.
