Despite the age of Black Ops Cold War, its popularity has resulted in updates still being added for the game multiple years later. One such update was the UGR submachine gun which players can unlock after meeting its requirements.
Black Ops Cold War: Best Weapons To Start With In Zombies
Players can unlock the UGR submachine gun either through Warzone, multiplayer, or Zombies across Black Ops Cold War. Firing steel darts, this automatic SMG can do devastating damage in quick succession and plays much like other SMGs, so more seasoned Cold War players won't find it too difficult to get used to this weapon if they have already gotten used to other SMGs.
Unlocking the UGR via Warzone and multiplayer isn't the hardest challenge, but certainly isn't the quickest. Depending on the player's skill level, it may take them a while to unlock the weapon if they don't wish to buy it straight from the store with COD Points.
Players must kill an enemy that's been revealed by a Spy Plane, UAV, or Field Mic in 15 matches. Running these as part of the loadout is obviously needed, and then the player simply needs to keep playing until it unlocks, which it eventually will. Setting up Field Mics in busy areas while playing on objective-based modes is a great way to ensure that enemies are revealed on the amp, just beware that some opponents may be running Ghost.
Unlocking the UGR through this method may be a little time-consuming but the weapon's performance more than makes up for it.
Unlocking the UGR submachine gun in Black Ops Cold War Zombiesseems to be the easier route forward, due to Zombies being a much easier mode overall even for less-skilled players.
To unlock the UGR in Zombies, players must simply kill 1000 Zombies with a submachine gun
