Whether or not Microsoft and Activision would bring Call of Duty over to Game Pass was a question that many had asked more than a few times over recent months, and now, after suggestions from Microsoft regarding the same, the company has taken the big step in ensuring that that will indeed happen. Following recent leaks and rumours, Microsoft has confirmed that the upcoming, recently-announced Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will be available via Game Pass at launch.
The company has confirmed the same with a new live action trailer, one that follows a recent tease that seemed to confirm a Gulf War setting for the game. The trailer shows various world leaders of the time, and talks about conspiracies (typically enough, for a Black Ops game) that have resulted in a facade of peace while ugly, larger wars rage on in the shadows. Check it out below.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is also set to receive a full worldwide reveal on June 9, so expect to hear more about the game very soon. Leaks have claimed that the game will be cross-gen, which means it will also launch for PS4 and Xbox One in addition to PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. As per prior reports, the game will release in October.
