Rockstar introduced its own subscription service in 2022, GTA Plus. Designed for dedicated players of GTA Online, GTA Plus gets subscribers monthly in-game rewards and exclusives. Rockstar also added a few older GTA games, including the remastered trilogy, which subscribers can play for no additional cost. Despite its name, that library was expanded beyond GTA alone last week as Rockstar added Red Dead Redemption. It won't be stopping there either and has now announced plans to add even more big names from its back catalog.
Revealed in a blog post about upcoming bonuses for GTA Plus subscribers, Rockstar revealed Bully and LA Noire will be following in Red Dead Redemption's footsteps later this year. No word on when exactly or if they'll both drop at the same time, just confirmation that they're coming. Rockstar also revealed subscribers will be getting GTA$1,000,000 every month between April and August. That's in addition to the GTA$500,000 they get already.
Bully turns 18 this year and despite endless rumors, the game has never been followed up on, whether that be via a remaster or a sequel. Prior reports have claimed a fully realized Bully 2 was ready to go in 2009 but was never released, and more recently the game was among many Rockstar projects to have reportedly been canceled. Making it playable through GTA Plus might be the closest we're ever going to get to a remaster or a sequel, and a great way to get more people signed up for the service.
GTA Plus is a Rockstar-run subscription service that grants GTA Online players exclusive bonuses in exchange for $5.99 per month. The service also includes a selection of Rockstar games, available on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
