Bloodborne is finally on PC. Well, sort of. A fan made demake - all the rage these days - of FromSoftware's gothic, Lovecraftian horror has just been released for free on itch.io.
Bloodborne PSX is a fan made demake that turns the iconic nightmare city of Yharnam into a gritty CRT horrowshow. The game has been made over a period of 13 months, reimagining the Bloodborne we all know and love for the PS4 as a game made for the PS1.

Clips of the game came to TheGamer's attention in January of last year, and we've been eagerly anticpating the release of the fan project ever since. Back in March, we got to glimpse the iconic Cleric Beast boss fight on the bridge to the locked Cathedral Ward, and also heard the game's fantastic music. also demade to more accurately fit the aesthetic of the game.
Then, in July, we got to see the Father Gascoigne fight. This is the fight in the original Bloodborne that made many players put down their controllers and uninstall the game for good. It's an excellent vertical slice of what makes Bloodborne what it is - tragic, vicious boss fights and Eldritch transformations.
The developers of Bloodborne PSX promised a January 31 due date and they delivered. That's a baby pun for those of you in the know. Fans have wanted Bloodborne on PC for years, but despite Sony porting other first-party titles over, Bloodborne has never made the cut. Well, now it's on PC, sort of.
