The final chapter of Far Cry 6's Become the Villain DLC will give Joseph Seed the main stage next week in Joseph: Collapse. Ubisoft originally teased Far Cry 5 villain Joseph Seed's return last summer, upon sharing details about the new game's villain-centric Season Pass content. Priced at $39.99, the Far Cry 6 Season Pass includes three DLC episodes and access to the full Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon experience.
Notably, the three DLC episodes star past antagonists from the series — Far Cry 3's Vaas Montenegro, Pagan Min from the fourth mainline installment, and the aforementioned Joseph Seed. Vaas' episode, aptly entitled Vaas: Insanity, allowed players to explore the character's psyche in a roguelite experience that went live in November 2021. Pagan: Control similarly featured roguelite-inspired gameplay and launched earlier this year in mid-January. As is now common with most major Ubisoft releases, smaller content releases have been interspersed between the bigger DLC rollouts. For example, Far Cry 6 recently received Rambo content in the form of a free mission.

In a press release (via MP1st), Ubisoft confirmed that Far Cry 6's final DLC episode, Joseph: Collapse, will launch across all platforms next week on Tuesday, February 8. Starring the Far Cry 5 villain often referred to as «The Father,» Joseph: Collapse drops players into a "twisted version" of Hope County for a third roguelite adventure. The new content dives deep into Joseph's troubled mind, tasking players with confronting cult followers who stand in the way of his attempt to conquer the inner demons that have long haunted him.
