Back in 2021, well-known hacker Lance McDonald released an unofficial Bloodborne 60 FPS patch which further improved the action role-playing game developed by FromSoftware. Now, even those with a (hacked) PlayStation 5 can enjoy the game in its 60 FPS glory without having to sacrifice visual quality.
Earlier today, Lance McDonald himself reported that his patch has been ported to run on hacked PlayStation 5 consoles, sharing a video showing the game running on a retail console at steady 60 frames per second, 1080p resolution.
Illusion has done it! My Bloodborne 60fps patch has been ported to run within the current state of PlayStation 5 hacking / exploitation. Real retail PS5 hardware running Bloodborne at locked 60fps in full 1080p https://t.co/XCJxbdzq0v

Despite being one of the most acclaimed games ever made by FromSoftware, Bloodborne has yet to be ported to any other gaming system. For quite some time, we have been hearing rumors of a remaster or remake being in development, but no announcement has been made so far. As such, the only way to experience the hauntingly beautiful journey of the hunter through the city of Yarnham is by playing the game on PlayStation 4, although the RPCSX emulator has recently taken the first step to make emulating the game on PC a reality.
Bloodborne is now available on PlayStation 4 worldwide. We will let you know about the rumored remaster as soon as more come in on it, so stay tuned for all the latest news.
