Blizzard has made a bluepost stating that they will be reviewing the terms of their Community Discord Program, after receiving significant backlash over the heavy-handed terms of its member agreement.

It is not our intention to control conversations on community Discord servers. The intentions is quite the opposite. We’re reviewing the agreement now and will post here once it’s updated.Announced last week, the program quickly became a hotbed for discussion over its heavy-handed member agreement, which included requirements to install tracking software and a permanent and everlasting clause prohibiting any negative or disparaging statements toward Blizzard or its games, while giving Blizzard sole discretion to remove contributor content, alongside an arbitration clause waiving any ability to fight Blizzard's decisions. Although the enforceability of some of those terms has been questioned, several prominent class and community discord managers immediately voiced their disagreement and intent not to participate.
