The European Commission has approved Microsoft’s proposed $68.7 billion acquisition of Activision Blizzard, the organization announced. The approval is condition on full compliance with commitments offered by Microsoft, which “fully address the competition concerns identified by the Commission and represent a significant improvement for cloud gaming as compared to the current situation.”
The announcement comes less than three weeks after United Kingdom antitrust regulator Competition and Markets Authority announced it will block the acquisition.
