Ameerah Jones became the latest casualty of a Big Brother season 24 blindside, and she admitted that the Leftovers alliance shocked her. During Thursday's live eviction episode, Ameerah was put up as a nominee on Big Brother to be evicted alongside Terrance Higgins, her «Festie Bestie,» a twist that split the 14 houseguests into teams of two. Matthew «Turner» Turner was the week's HOH, meaning he had to nominate two houseguests for eviction. This treatment caused Big Brother contestants Turner, Kyle Capener, Monte Taylor and Joseph Abdin to form an alliance called The Leftovers, bringing Taylor, Michael and Brittany to join them. Turner gave a powerful speech at the Veto ceremony, urging the bullies in the house to leave Taylor alone. Ameerah was evicted by a 7-4 vote during Thursday's live eviction.
