For example, the original Assassin's Creed received an 8K ray tracing boost not too long ago, most notably enhancing the textures and lighting. Red Dead Redemption 2 received a similar mod late last year, which further amplified the photorealistic look of the stunning open-world adventure.
Batman: Arkham Knight hit stores for PC and consoles in the summer of 2015, marking the end of Rocksteady Studios' Arkham trilogy. Barring the myriad issues that plagued the game's PC version, Arkham Knight proved to be nothing short of a visual showpiece in terms of graphical fidelity. The world of Gotham looked more fully realized compared to previous entries. And no one could argue that Rocksteady hadn't gone out of its way to pack as much detail into each area as possible. YouTuber AD Massicuro has created a mod that adds 8K resolution to Batman: Arkham Knight. The modder showed off their build in a recent video, wherein Arkham Knight running on an Nvidia RTX 3090 TI features ray-traced reflections, dynamic volumetric fog, and God rays. According to AD Massicuro, this version of the Batman experience also incorporates depth of field, color grading, and a camera mod that reacts to the happenings in Gotham City.
