Baldur's Gate 3's next patch is underway and it looks to be one of the biggest yet. Larian Studios is bringing us new evil endings with brand-new cutscenes and music, as well as official mod support and a whole boatload of bug fixes.
While we don't know what the new endings entail or how to get them yet, Larian promised that they will be "even darker conclusions to your most sinister playthroughs" that you can get even if you're not playing as Dark Urge.
It also shared two sneak peeks from the cinematics which you can see embedded below, giving us a taste of what's to come in our inevitable new playthroughs.

The next update will stop Jaheira from refusing to follow the group when she otherwise would, and it'll make Wyll's greetings a little less abrasive. There was also an issue with the Narrator forgetting to read her lines during the Gortash and Dark Urge confrontation, which Patch 7 will address.
Larian also stated in the blog post that we can expect general performance enhancements and stability improvements for a smoother experience. But perhaps the biggest inclusion in Patch 7 is official mod support - that means mods on consoles, as Larian announced back in February.
"This next patch will also begin introducing our official modding tools, letting you change up visuals, animations, sounds, stats, and more to overhaul Baldur’s Gate 3 into the weird nightmare realm of your dreams," Larian wrote.
There are even more major updates to come after Patch 7, as Larian revealed it's still working on photo mode and crossplay. There's no concrete date yet on when we can expect either of these features other than a vague "further down the road", but they are being worked on.
