Given all of its different paths to take and ways to play, Baldur's Gate 3 is full of secrets. In the hundreds of hours you spend in Faerûn, you're let loose to tackle the main story as you wish, so there's no way to see everything in one playthrough. Now, a player has come across one of these rarities - and it's a little creepy.

In this interaction, Karlach offers to try out an integration tactic she picked up on while in Avernus. It doesn't involve any kind of torture, just staring directly into her eyes while you answer questions. However, as soon as you agree to play along, she starts to stare at the player, not your character. Then, gradually, the questions she asks have less to do with your journey, and more to do with the game itself - all while Karlach gazes into your soul.

This strange conversation with Karlach was shared by YouTuber Chubblot, and it's absolutely wild. Before getting into it, she explains that she wants to try out a technique she learned from a cleric. If you agree, it immediately becomes sinister, as she turns her head to look at the player.

Things start out simple enough, first asking for your name, and how you're feeling. Then, things take a very sudden turn, and she seems to become distressed. She begins to explain how she can see fate itself, controlled by a "hand that decides" all of their lives, but "barely knows" the answers itself. If that didn't make it clear enough that she's referring to the player, the next questions really solidify it.
