Baldur’s Gate 3 has been soaring through charts since its launch, even though the RPG game has only been out of early access for a few days. Soon after Larian Studios released the Dungeons & Dragons-inspired Baldur’s Gate 3, the developers dropped a hotfix update that resolved bugs and made changes to cinematic cutscenes. The team has just followed up on that patch, updating the game with a second hotfix that is just as funny as it is useful.
The Baldur’s Gate 3 patch notes for Larian Studios’ second hotfix update are here, and they’re pretty hefty. According to the developer note attached to the detailed changes on Steam, the hotfix adjustments made are “addressing almost 300 crashes, blockers, and bugs.” The team also stated that prior to releasing the update, “We saw a video floating around on the internet this week of an unintentional gnome sorcerer wardrobe malfunction, and have kindly asked them to cover up while descending into the Underdark.”
If you’re one of the amused few who played as a gnome under the affected Baldur’s Gate 3 class, you’ll no longer be unpleasantly (or maybe pleasantly) surprised by random lost underwear and indecent exposure. This isn’t the only silly issue addressed by Larian Studios, though, as the hotfix resolves other genitalia-related bugs. Our Baldur’s Gate 3 review delves further into what makes the new D&D-style game so great, but the humor and dev team are top-tier.
Those are the Baldur’s Gate 3 patch notes for the second hotfix update. If you want to have a look through Larian Studios’ full list, you can do so here for a more detailed understanding of the, um, clothing changes and other adjustments.
