Remnant 2 is getting some much-needed tweaks and fixes on consoles with this major patch.
By Hayley Williams on
Remnant 2 has just received a major patch for both PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, with another patch for Xbox coming soon to bring it in line with the PlayStation version. Here's what's been updated in the action-RPG.
Both PlayStation and Xbox are getting a number of updates to improve stability and reduce crashes, as well as bug fixes to issues that would block a player's progression through the game. The update is designed to address the biggest and most frustrating issues players might face, but for the Xbox version, a second update will be coming later in the week to address further balance changes, bug fixes, and qualit-of-life updates.

Gunfire Games has retroactively fixed rewards and achievements that previously weren't tracked properly, including «as many difficulty-based rewards as possible,» meaning it's possible some are still not fixed. Players will have to interact with the World Stone post-patch to unlock their rewards and achievements.
Gunfire has said that there will still be future patches coming to further improve quality of life and resolve further issues, especially where Traits are concerned, but for now this is the game's first major patch to address some of the biggest issues that have been plaguing players.
Here are the full patch notes, though make sure to check out the individual Xbox patch notes and PS5 patch notes to see
