The Bachelor star Matt James is making it known that he is not okay with catcalling and honestly doesn't even understand it. Matt's season of The Bachelor was a bizarre one, to say the least. It aired after Claire Crawley and Tayshia Adams combined seasons of The Bachelorette and was the first of the male leads to be filmed entirely in a bubble due to COVID-19. The season also made waves for being riddled with an insane amount of mean girls, cattiness, and even detrimental rumors. Matt was praised for his no-nonsense way of handling the drama and kicking the mean girls to the curb.
When it came to picking his future wife, that part was less of a challenge. Throughout the entire season, Bachelor Nation got to watch as Matt fell more and more in love with contestant Rachael Kirkconnel. Something that was a bit of a controversy as, while the show was still airing, Rachael was being called out for liking racially insensitive posts and even attending an Antebellum-themed party only a few years prior. While the show did end with Matt and Rachael getting engaged, at the live finale Matt admitted following the situation he and Rachael were no longer together. The breakup didn't last long though, as just a few months later the couple was spotted out, and they've been in a relationship ever since. Since the show, Matt has grown a prominent following on social media and is constantly keeping Bachelor Nation updated.
