Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness could set up the MCU's own version of the X-Men's Storm (albeit not the Halle Berry version). The multiverse is central to the MCU's Phase 4, and the sheer scale of its potential was perfectly demonstrated in Spider-Man: No Way Home. However, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness promises to be even more spectacular, with the trailer featuring the voice of X-Men's Patrick Stewart — suggesting Fox's X-Men are about to appear courtesy of the multiverse. There may well be even more X-Men setup in the MCU movie.
The key lies in the ScreenX poster for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, which features a book of magic on a plinth. It looks very different to the MCU's Darkhold, the book of forbidden magic introduced in WandaVision, and its presence on a poster suggests it will be important to the plot somehow. There have long been rumors Doctor Strange 2 would feature the Book of the Vishanti, the antithesis to the Darkhold created by ancient Elder Gods who sought to protect the Earth from their evil kin. According to The Cosmic Circus, this is indeed the Book of the Vishanti. Not only would this serve to establish some of Marvel's most powerful benevolent supernatural entities in the MCU, but it would also serve as a subtle setup for the MCU's own version of Storm — rather than simply the Alexandra Shipp or the Halle Berry version of X-Men's Storm from previous film franchises.
