ASUS's flagship GeForce RTX 4090 ROG MATRIX Platinum graphics card has made its debut in China for an insane price of over $8000 US.
The ASUS GeForce RTX 4090 ROG MATRIX Platinum is one of the most expensive graphics cards ever made. It has an MSRP of $3199 US which is twice as expensive as the reference card that costs $1599 US but wait till you hear about what the same card costs in China.
In China, the graphics card launched today in the retail segment and while the official MSRP for the card was set to be 23,000 RMB ($3155 US), the actual retail prices are much different. Even as of right now, the majority of the RTX 4090 GPU models retail at starting prices close to 19,000 RMB which is around $2600 US so that's already a $1000 US price hike over the US MSRP.
Do keep in mind that the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 GPU had an official MSRP of 12,999 RMB or $1780 US in China.
