Ubisoft has been going all in on Assassin's Creed lately, within a bunch of new titles in the series currently in development, ranging from shorter experiences like the upcoming Assassin's Creed Mirage to mobile games like Assassin's Creed Jade. However, it seems like there's one more title in development that Ubisoft hasn't announced yet, that being a full blown remake of Assassin's Creed: Black Flag.
According to two anonymous sources speaking with Kotaku, a remake of Assassin's Creed: Black Flag is in the earliest stages of development over at Ubisoft, with Skull & Bones developer Ubisoft Singapore heavily involved with planning due to its fancy new ocean tech. Given that it's still in very early development, we probably won't be seeing an official announcement for a good few years, especially since Ubisoft already has a few already announced Assassin's Creed games to get out of the way first.
