Asmongold Responds To Dr Disrespect Over 'Brain Dead' NFT Critics Remark
The popular Twitch streamer Asmongold has finally decided to respond to Dr Disrespect over the latter's ''Brain Dead'' NFT remark. The two popular streamers have been at odds regarding NFTs, with Dr Disrespect lately making comments against naysayers of the controversial digital collectibles. Asmongold, on the other hand, had a different take on the situation, and his response has left fans buzzing.
In a recent stream, Dr Disrespect called critics of NFTs «Brain Dead» and claimed that they didn't understand the concept of the digital collectibles. Asmongold, who is known for his outspoken views on various gaming and streaming topics, was quick to respond to these comments. He criticized Dr Disrespect's statement, calling it «insulting» and pointed out that not all criticisms of NFTs were unfounded. On one of his official Twitch streams, the OTK founder responded to the Two-Time's comments. The former said, “Okay, let me counter this. I don’t think that people want to have every aspect of their gaming experience commodified to the extent that everything that they obtain and earn, and the fundamental of the game, is built around a dollar value.”

Asmongold further added that, if players get the option to collect high-value items, they will just take them by any means. As a World of Warcraft veteran, he pointed out that players can receive unique items as drops, but they cannot sell them later on. “Also, by the way, if I was playing a game and I knew that I could kill somebody and get a $100,000 item, you know what I would do? Cheat. I would cheat,” he added.
