This month's games for PS Plus Extra and PS Plus Premium have been revealed, with 13 titles being added across the two tiers. We suppose the biggest talking point is that subscribers are getting four Tales games, including the very well received Tales of Arise, which released back in 2021.
The inclusion of Assassin's Creed Valhalla has also raised some eyebrows. The open world adventure was previously part of a Ubisoft-specific PS Plus Extra push, so it's not really a new addition to the service. Elsewhere, the relatively recent Need for Speed Unbound is worth a look if you want to go fast, while The Outer Worlds: Spacer's Choice Edition packages a great RPG with all of its DLC (which we think runs better on PS5 these days compared to when it launched).
Oh, and there's an argument to be made that PS Plus Premium is decent this month. Resistance: Retribution is a PSP classic, and it's joined by PS1's Jet Moto 2. We're still not sold on remasters like Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition and Tales of Symphonia Remastered being part of the most expensive PS Plus tier, but...

Great month, finally some games that have persuaded me to upgrade to premium. Can't wait for some Resistance Retribution and Tales of Symphonia.
I’m very happy with it. Tales of Arise is a great game, and I haven’t played any of the DLC for The Outer Worlds so that will be fun to tackle. Also, Resistance Retribution is fantastic, and if it has trophy support I’ll be all over it.
