The amount of attention given to the Apple Vision Pro is evidence alone that the mixed-reality headset has left a perpetual and positive first impression, even for those that have not had a hands-on session with it. It is no surprise that on Apple’s official YouTube channel, the reveal video of the headset has garnered an impressive 50 million views and that too in less than 10 days.
If you visit the reveal video below, you will see that it took just nine days for it to accumulate 50 million views, but it is likely that not all views were through an organic channel. In a Twitter thread started by @concept_central, it was discussed that Apple ran an ad campaign that enabled the Apple Vision Pro’s 9-minute video to reach the 50-million view milestone. This is unsurprising to hear, given that the company has run ad campaigns for other products.
A David Lynch also commented on the thread, saying that the Apple Vision Pro reveal video was recommended to him several times, but the fact that several critics have labeled the product as a revolutionary one, it would be foolish for Apple not to run any campaigns. It is also worth noting that the AR headset is not expected to reach consumers before 2024, so even if there are 50 million views accumulated on that reveal video, the technology giant will have a very poor sales conversion rate, but there is a reason for that.
