Apple appears to have discriminated between the OLED iPad Pro models when it comes to the RAM. The company announced the new OLED iPad Pro models with major changes. While the iPad Air comes with decent upgrades and a new 12.9-inch variant, the iPad Pro takes the cake with an extremely thin design and powerful internals.
Apple's 'Let Loose' event was rather short, as it was previously speculated. Nonetheless, it packed a punch when it came to the announcements. The new OLED iPad Pro with an M4 chip is the perfect machine for artists and digital creators. Conjoined with the new Magic Keyboard and the Apple Pencil Pro, the new iPad Pro will go a long way, even after the debut of the company's AI features. However, we would advise professionals to get the 1TB or 2TB variant of the iPad Pro as it brings more RAM to the mix.
If you are not familiar, the OLED iPad Pro comes with 8GB of RAM, but the 1TB and 2TB variants house a whopping 16GB of RAM. This means that the highest-end models come with twice as much RAM as the lower storage variants. The iPad Pro models with higher storage will be more capable when it comes to multitasking and handling graphic-intensive tasks.
Possibly, Apple opened doors to 16GB of RAM to handle its upcoming AI utilities and the development of the technology.
