Anduin Gets a Facelift on The War Within Beta - Updated Model Smooths Sharp Chin
In a very important unannounced hotfix, Anduin has received another facelift on The War Within Beta, softening his dagger-like chin with a more rounded beard!
ClaretAsh from Twitter highlighted the change on the beta servers, and we've created some more detailed side-by-side comparisons below.
Although it may seem like a subtle change, the previously pointed chin stands out much more when compared side by side, still a bit blocky, but now featuring much more rounded and softer edges. Between the beard, his newfound scars, and general weathering, Manduin has certainly come a long way from the baby faced prince of years past.
That chin was the real weapon Sylvanas intended to turn against us.
The new look now much more closely matches the shape of his previous model as well.
As seen in this overlay, the models line up almost perfectly, leaving just a little bit of room for the new beard growth. The events of Shadowlands and The War Within have clearly taken their toll on the absentee King, though it appears he's keeping his chin up.
