AMD Ryzen Threadripper PRO 7995WX 96-Core & 7975WX 32-Core CPUs Leak Out

AMD's Ryzen Threadripper Pro 7995WX & 7975WX CPU, featuring up to an astonishing 96 Zen 4 cores have leaked out within the SiSoftware database.

The AMD Ryzen Threadripper Pro 7975WX CPU featuring 32 cores was already spotted within the same database a few weeks ago but now we have a few more benchmark submissions plus an entry of the flagship Ryzen Threadripper Pro 7995WX. Both of these chips will be compatible with the upcoming Storm Peak platform which is expected to come in two-socket variations (SP6 & SP5) and support a mix of 8-channel and 4-channel motherboards.

So coming to the specifications, the flagship AMD Ryzen Threadripper Pro 7995WX features 96 Zen 4 cores, and 192 threads and comes in a total of 12 CCDs, each with 32 MB of L3 cache for a total of 384 MB of L3 cache. This confirms that this chip is based on the Genoa SP5 die and will adopt the top 8-channel and SP5 socket platform. The chip also features 96 MB of L2 cache and the top clock speed was reported at 5.14 GHz.

Moving on to the AMD Ryzen Threadripper Pro 7975WX CPU, we are looking at a 32-core chip that comes with 64 threads, 128 MB of L3 cache, and 32 MB of L2 cache. The CPU is expected to feature a TDP of 350W and the clock speeds are reported at a peak of 4.0 GHz though we doubt that these would be the final clocks unless it is an all-core boost which makes a little more sense.
