The new reboot of Alone in the Dark is here, but the game still has a lot of old-school survival horror flavor, which means there are a lot of puzzles, secrets, and other mysteries to unravel. But don’t worry, we here at Wccftech are here to guide you past the tricky bits.
Alone in the Dark has a relatively limited number of weapons, with one of the most powerful being the shotgun. You’ll first notice the shotgun in a glass case in the Small Parlor on the main floor relatively early on in Chapter 2 of the game. The Fountain Pen is located in Batiste’s Room on the second floor in the east wing of the mansion. You’ll get access to this room early in Chapter 2. Look for a cluttered table with a “Weird Tales” magazine on it. The pen is on top of the magazine.
Finally, the Dog Collar is located in the Drawing Room on the main floor of the mansion. You’ll gain access to this area midway through Chapter 2. Look under the table at the far end of the Drawing Room.
And there you go! Once you get all three of the Lost Children Lagniappes, the case containing the shotgun will open automatically via mysterious means. Again, you’re definitely going to want to get this, as it’s your most powerful
