As you progress through Chapter 2 of , you'll encounter a plate in the Boiler Room with a mosaic of images acting as a puzzle you must solve. Some of the plate's pieces are missing, preventing you from fixing the boiler at first. Gathering every piece of this puzzle will allow you to arrange parts together in a specific pattern and unlock a new area.

The Boiler Room itself is a place you can find on your map as you explore Chapter 2, but key differences in may confuse those who remember the layout of the original game's map. You can reach the Boiler by traveling below the Food & Wine Cellar. While your map will say the Boiler Room is near the Kitchen Garden and Conservatory, you must go underground.

After you find the boiler plate, two pieces are missing: one in the room with Jeremy close by and the second in Cassandra's Room. The NPC Jeremy can be found south of the Boiler Room, in an area initially blocked off by some steam. Making your way through to this character will let you speak to him and discover one broken plate on the floor behind them once you finish your conversation.

Next, head to Cassandra's Room, passing through the Sitting Room on the second floor of the building showcased in this new reboot. Here, you'll find a lock box containing the piece. You can only open this container by arranging three different astrology symbols in the right order. A nearby astrology wheel notates which astrology signs connect to different numbers, leading to a separate puzzle within a puzzle.
