To make a wired connection possible, you must purchase a USB-C to Ethernet dongle separately; thankfully, such accessories are extremely light on your wallet. According to Apple’s support document that was spotted by MacRumors, the company has listed several cables and accessories that can work with the newest iPhone 15 series. One of them is USB to Ethernet adapters.
Also, if you have yet to upgrade to any iPhone 15, remember that there is no benefit in upgrading to any one of the two ‘Pro’ models if you want to experience blazing-fast wired speeds, as all of them will deliver the same results. A MacRumors reader revealed that with the iPhone 15 Pro connected to an Ethernet port using an adapter, he obtained nearly 1Gbps in download and upload speeds, so clearly, the feature works.
However, if you live in another region where internet speeds are not as fast, do not believe that any iPhone 15 model will offer any advantage. These benefits depend entirely on how much you pay your service provider and the maximum speed limit of the package you have subscribed to.
