The base Galaxy S24 and the Ultra variant have already leaked, showing how Samsung is closing the gap between the devices in the series more so now than before. Today, we have had the chance to look at the Plus variant.
Now, the base and Galaxy S24+ still share the same DNA, wherein these devices look a lot similar to each other, with the Ultra variant being the one with the most distinctive looks, but uniformity certainly is not a bad thing. The plus variant is simply for people who are looking to pick up a larger device because of a larger screen and battery. Yet, our job is to show you the renders, and you can check them out below:
Looking at the renders, you can see that the Galaxy S24+ is not at all different from its base variant. The differences start to become noticeable when you look at the Ultra variant, which is built exactly like the Galaxy S23 Ultra and its predecessor, with the main difference being that all three devices now have a flat screen. I am not sure why Samsung made the creative decision to go for a flat screen, but it is the case, and I am in favor of it because, let's be honest, having a flat screen is much better than a curved one as the former is more durable and you don't see any color distortion or warping towards the edges of the screen.
The information we have received so far shows that the Galaxy S24 series will be going official in January next year. The decision to launch the new phones earlier is simply to tackle Apple's latest iPhone 15 series since the new Galaxy phones will be directly competing with what Apple currently has to offer.
